DWCS5 - WEB DESIGN USING DREAMWEAVER CS5

At the completion of Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 you should be able to: Understand the key aspects and components of a business website; open files and work effectively with the Dreamweaver workspace; define a Dreamweaver site; work effectively with text; create and edit CSS rules and apply them to text; manage the typography in your site using CSS; insert, position and format images; create and work with hyperlinks on a web page; design and lay out web pages using CSS; create, format and work with tables; create and use online forms; create and work with Dreamweaver templates; insert prebuilt scripts and spry elements to increase the interactivity of your site; insert useful meta tags into web pages; and run management reports and publish your site.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS

This course requires Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.


WHEN YOU ARE READY TO BEGIN

Step 1: Install your Course Files on your personal computer. Click on the link below to extract your Course Files for Dreamweaver CS5. A File Download box will appear. Click on Run. You may then see a Security Warning pop-up box. If so, click on Run. A ZipGenius Self-Extractor box will appear. Click on Start. Finally a Finished box will appear. Click on OK. Your files will now be saved in a folder named Course Files for Dreamwaver CS5 in the "c" drive of your computer, ready for use when indicated throughout your workbook.

Step 3: Work through the Chapter and when you have completed the lesson and exercises, come back to this page.

Step 4: Access the Test for the applicable Chapter via the link below (Eg. DWCS5-T01) and save the Test to your personal computer.

Step 5: Open the Test on your personal computer and enter your name in the box provided. Complete your answers and save the document.

Step 6: Click on this email link mvcc@mvcc.org.au to forward your Test Answer Sheet as an attachment - don't forget to attach your saved file! Please ensure that you enter a subject heading in the email (Eg. Web Design Using Dreamweaver CS5 - Test DWCS5-T01). If you prefer you can print the tests, complete them and fax back to 6562 2755. We will provide you with feedback upon receipt of each Test.
