MUP03 - PRESENTATION FUNDAMENTALS

This course teaches everything you need to know about putting together persuasive electronic presentations, from creating basic slide shows to adding graphics, video and audio for rich multimedia presentations. Early lessons will have you creating, editing and formatting your first presentations. You then develop the skills to work with PowerPoint design templates and slide masters. Next, you learn how to enrich your slide show presentations with graphics, animation, sounds, video clips and various automated features. Finally, you learn various techniques for working collaboratively with PowerPoint presentations and publish your presentations to the World Wide Web.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS

This course requires Microsoft PowerPoint.


WHEN YOU ARE READY TO BEGIN

Step 1: Ensure your Practice Files are installed on your personal computer.

Step 2: Open the Student Notes File below. You will be required to enter the password given to you on enrolment. Enter the password, being careful to type it exactly as given, as it is case sensitive. You can study online, save the file to your personal computer, or print it - depending on your preferred learning style.

Step 4: Access the Quick Quiz via the link below (Eg. PFQQ01) and save the Quick Quiz to your personal computer.

Step 5: Open the Quick Quiz on your personal computer and enter your name in the box provided. Complete your answers and save the document.

Step 6: Click on this email link mvcc@mvcc.org.au to forward your Quick Quiz Answer Sheet as an attachment - don't forget to attach your saved file! Please ensure that you enter a subject heading in the email (Eg. Presentation Fundamentals Quick Quiz 01). We will provide you with feedback upon receipt of each Quick Quiz.
